The team that we played only had 10 men. As well as that, the 10 men that they did have were nothing special. Nearly all of the play in the first half went down the right of the pitch due to the cross wind. At many point there were 18 people all in one place. Charlie made his views on this very clear!!! We had some good attacking play, but we didn't really make any notable chances. They scored the first goal of the game. The ball was crossed in from the left, and was layed off to one of their players who spanked the ball in the corner. The second goal they scored was headed in off a cross from the left.
That was all that really happened in the first half. With the start of the second half, the rained started to fall. However even with the conditions we managed to get a goal back. We played the ball well through the field, and Olly ended up scoring int the left corner of the goal. However after this glimmer of hope, we fell to pieces. Charlie had to leave due to 'hypothermia' taking us down to 10 men. We didn't really do anything else after this, and they scored another 2 to kill the game off
I don't really think that anyone enjoyed this game one bit, and would rather have stayed in bed for a few hours. That's 4 losses in a row. Good stuff!!!
