Game Of Two Halves!

If when asked to give a 100% and the the team gives you 150 instead, then defeat still remains disappointing but not as painful. Everyone dug in deep from the first 25 minutes of a onslaughter and conceding two early goals, disappointingly from two identical set peices.
We managed slowly to get hold of the game and reached half time with damage limitation being achieved.

The second period Town came out more determined and there was more energy and pace to our game as we started to create more penatration, coming close on several occassions. Certainly we were on top and looking more likly to score as Old Boys tried to stifle the game with deliberate time wasting. Then in the 85 minute the goal eventually arrived which was nothing less than deserved as Town came agonisingly close to saving the tie right on the final whistle.

Well it wasn't to be this time, but if we could have just scored a little sooner in the second half then who knows What If!!

Well done everyone we are on the right track.
Forward is the only way.
