Shame to let their second goal in with 3 minutes to go as
3-1 would have been a fairer reflection on the game. It was a good oppertunity to blood a few new faces, who all showed good potential and ability, which can only be good for the coming season.

Defensively we looked sound throughout both in open play and set peices.

Biggest plus for me considering it was our first game, was the fact that against relatively younger opposition our fitness levels were as good if not better that the oppo.
